DR. PERROTTI'S PHILOSOPHY The art of molding and shaping, comes from the Greek word plastikos.
Dr. Perrotti uses cutting edge techniques in a wide range of advanced procedures, including liposuction, body contouring and facial cosmetic surgery. “I use power-assisted liposuction not only on the hips, abdomen and thighs (the usual targets), but also on calves, ankles, arms and neck. I try to be as aggressive as possible while still following the body’s natural shapes and contours. I also do many small-volume or “finesse” liposuction for the most in-shape patients.” Dr. Perrotti also performs fat grafting to the face and body to add or restore volume and provide lift. All surgeries are performed at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Institute (part of Lenox Hill Hospital).
Patients of Dr. John A. Perrotti value his experience and astute aesthetic judgment. “Each person’s face and body has natural curves, shapes and contours, which may be improved upon through surgical and nonsurgical methods,” he says. “Yet, everything needs to be artfully achieved, leaving a completely natural appearance.”
Ensuring that his patients are carefully informed about procedures is a top priority. “Patients need to know what can and cannot be accomplished,” he states. "It is important for patients to know that they are treated by board-certified physicians in order to achieve precise results. “It’s the training, skill, experience and aesthetic judgment of the surgeon that is ultimately the most important consideration in achieving dramatic yet natural results.”

| LIPOSUCTION: A PATIENT'S STORY
I first became self-conscious about my legs as a teenager. After spending years exercising and hiding my thighs and calves, it became apparent to me that I needed to explore other options. I considered liposuction. Because calves are not commonly treated with liposuction, I needed to find a plastic surgeon with experience in that area and someone who would also be appropriately aggressive in fat removal. An extensive search led me to Dr. Perrotti. During the consultation it was clear that he understood my goals and expectations and was committed to obtaining the results I was seeking. His office arranged for me to speak with his other patients who had undergone liposuction of the same areas. Talking to other patients was invaluable; and after learning how pleased they were with their results, I sealed my decision. I spent my life obsessing about my thighs and calves. Now that I am well proportioned, it’s a completely new reality for me and it is a freedom I’ve never known until now. It also gives me tremendous satisfaction when speaking with other patients who are considering making the decision.
